Elizabeth Bille interview

I interviewed Elizabeth Bille, JD, SHRM-SCP

Senior Vice President, Workplace Culture at EVERFI for AEDIPE CENTRHO in Spain.

https://www.everfi.com/

EVERFI is a major education technology company based out of Washington, DC. Elizabeth is in charge of all workplace culture research projects that EVERFI produces on a monthly basis.

My interview focused on three main topics: the great resignation, mental health in the workplace, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). They are all affecting and impacting many companies in the US and also globally.

1) What advice would you give employers who are looking to fill their vacancies?

2) We have been through two years of a global pandemic that has driven us all to work

remotely. How has this remote environment impacted mental health in the workforce?

How does EVERFI advise employers to tackle this issue?

3) Finally, we talked about Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace, and their importance to drive more innovative cultures within organizations. What is EVERFI doing to encourage employers to put diversity and inclusion in the forefront of their hiring needs?

Watch the interview by clicking on the image above, drive your own conclusions, and leverage her insights to start approaching these major topics that I am sure are also affecting your organization.

My recommendation is to create your own plan to reevaluate your workplace model (fully remote, hybrid, or in the office), and review your company purpose to make sure it’s clear to your employees, and they can align with it. I would also recommend you start the conversation around mental health and provide adequate resources for your employees. And finally, consider DEI as your initial strategy to reach out to untapped talent pools that could enrich your organization, increase innovation and broaden your perspectives.

Keep on learning.

Iñigo.
