Buen Camino: a lifelong learning journey

In this inspiring learning session, participants will learn about:

  • The future of work and the need for a lifelong learning mindset. 

  • The “Camino- the Way” as a learning journey, a reflection of life itself, and upskilling and reskilling opportunities it provides.  

  • How to become responsible for our own learning journey, by telling ourselves the truth. Each individual is responsible for their own personal and professional development.

 

In this keynote, I will share with you my passion for learning and the key insights for sparking your inner light for continuous learning. 

The title of this keynote is inspired by a historic pilgrimage through my native Spain, which began centuries ago with Saint James. “Camino” means the way, and I use this term to navigate us through a lifelong learning journey build on upskilling and reskilling.


Buen camino or good way is the universal greeting all pilgrims exchange throughout the journey. It offers a boost of energy to keep going. Together, we will learn how to craft our own “learning greeting” to propel us on this mission.

Together, we will explore the critical competencies we all need to develop to stay relevant in the workplace.

 


 

Live a life with purpose and thrive at home and at work.

In this sparking session, participants will learn about:

  • The benefits of discovering life purpose. 

  • Meaning and purpose at work. 

  • The trend towards purpose in organizations, which is not only limited to profit. 

 

This keynote explores the concept of Life purpose vs purpose and meaning at work.  Together we will explore together concepts like life purpose, Ikigai, meaning and purpose at work. 

Most experts affirmed that only 3 percent of the world’s seven billion, truly know their life purpose and have the opportunity to live by it.

Organizations with a clear purpose outperform the market by 42 percent, while purposeful brands grow 69 percent faster than others on the market.

 


 

“Change is a journey not an event”

Let me invite you to a change journey with me, where our travelers will learn:

  • A new brain science-based approach to change journeys.

  • The four brain structures that activate during change.

  • The Change Quest® model, developed by Dr. Britt Andreatta and how it can help you and your team navigate or design, and implement change initiatives. 

 

In this keynote, I invite you to grab your backpack and join me on a journey toward new perspectives and change. 

An estimated 50 to 70 percent of change initiatives fail. This statistic, provided by Harvard Business Review, is startling. We invest, we plan, we have high hopes, but half of our efforts to bring about change in our organizations don't meet our expectations – or they utterly fail. We miss deadlines. We don't like our end result. We give up and pull the change because it is just too painful or difficult.

The goal of this session is to rethink our strategies on future change journeys, while addressing the biology and emotion that comes with change. 

This 75-minute interactive keynote includes three 5-minute discussions where participants apply concepts and the Change Quest® model to their organizations.

  • Cross-cultural differences and how they impact our behavior and performance at work. 

  • Belonging as the only way to improve engagement and attract a diverse talent to your organizations. 

 

This learning session will spark your inner light for learning about cultural differences and how they intersect with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) start with RESPECT. If people do not feel safe, respected, and heard, or they cannot speak up, they automatically become disengaged or leave organizations. 

I am a firm believer that DEI is at the intersection of cross-cultural education (learning and accepting cultural differences) and creating inclusive workplaces where people feel they belong, and they have access to an equitable piece of the pie.

In this session, I will spark your light to learn about:

  • The key principles of mastermind

  • Explore the power of hot seats

  • Sharing a common purpose with others.

Mastermind groups offer a combination of brainstorming, education, peer accountability and support to sharpen your business and personal skills.
